Services
At Doggie Detailing & Resort, we believe every dog deserves thoughtful, individualized care in a safe and comfortable environment. Our services are designed to support your dog’s physical health, mental enrichment, and overall well-being throughout their stay. From daycare and boarding to grooming add-ons and wellness support, we approach each service with patience, attention, and respect for each dog’s unique needs. Whether your dog enjoys group play, private play, or quiet enrichment, our goal is to provide care that helps them feel happy, secure, and at home.

Baths

Our bath services are designed to help your dog go home feeling fresh, comfortable, and cared for.
Baths are scheduled on the day of pick-up and completed a few hours prior so your dog has time to dry before heading home.
We use a gentle, basic shampoo for all baths and offer an allergen-friendly option for dogs with sensitivities — simply let us know at drop-off if your dog requires it. Each bath also includes a thorough brush-out to support coat health and comfort.
For the safety and well-being of your dog, we are unable to provide baths for dogs that are excessively matted, as bathing can tighten mats and cause discomfort or skin irritation.
If at any time a dog becomes overly stressed or is at risk of hurting themselves during the bathing process, we will stop the service. In these situations, the bath will not be completed and a refund will be issued.
We believe in doing for your dog what we would want someone to do for our own — prioritizing comfort, safety, and emotional well-being above all else.
This service is $30, $35 or $40.

Nail trims

Proper nail length plays a foundational role in canine biomechanics, affecting how a dog absorbs shock through their feet, the alignment of their limbs and joints, and the stress placed on muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
We trim and/or grind nails with the goal of supporting healthy movement—not just shortening them. By carefully removing excess length and the outer “hood” of the nail, we help expose the quick (the blood vessel inside the nail). When done safely and routinely, this encourages the quick to naturally recede, allowing nails to become shorter and more comfortable over time.
All nail trims are performed patiently and at your dog’s comfort level. We use a variety of tools and handling techniques to safely support dogs who may be nervous, sensitive, or more challenging to handle. Our experienced staff are trained to read body language and adjust their approach as needed to keep the experience as low-stress as possible.
Pricing may vary based on the time, tools, and level of handling required, and will always be discussed openly.
Healthy nails support healthy movement.
This service is $16, $20, $25.
*Pricing depends on the dog’s comfort level, time required, and handling needs, and will always be communicated in advance.
Internal Anal gland expressions
Anal gland care can be an important part of maintaining your dog’s overall comfort and mobility. When anal glands do not empty naturally, some dogs may experience pressure, discomfort, or irritation that can affect how they move, sit, or feel throughout the day.
If your dog is showing signs such as scooting, excessive licking of the rear area, a fishy or unpleasant odor, difficulty sitting comfortably, or irritation near the tail base, their anal glands may need to be expressed.
We perform anal gland expressions as an internal expression only. This service is offered upon request for dogs who require routine maintenance or appear to be experiencing discomfort.
The procedure is performed gently and thoughtfully, with careful attention to each dog’s stress level and tolerance. Our trained staff are experienced in recognizing signs of discomfort and will adjust or stop the process if a dog becomes overly anxious or unsafe to handle.
Anal gland care is provided only when appropriate and is always focused on your dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being.
Comfort matters—especially when it comes to routine care.
This service is $25.
Nature Walks - Private Play Only

Our 20-minute Nature Walks offer Private Play dogs a refreshing change of pace and the opportunity to explore beyond the play area. Your dog will enjoy a structured walk down the road with a staff member, allowing them to engage their senses, practice leash manners, and experience new sights and smells in a controlled setting.
Safety is always our priority. Each dog is double leashed during the walk, and our team carries a safety pack equipped with essential supplies, including an air horn for added precaution.
Walking and sniffing are also valuable forms of enrichment. Nose work and scent exploration can be mentally stimulating and can help tire a dog’s brain more than physical exercise alone, supporting overall relaxation and well-being.
Walks must be scheduled in advance and require a signed walking waiver. Occasionally, if a Private Play dog is showing signs that a walk may better support their comfort or enrichment that day, a staff member may offer a walk as an alternative activity.
These walks are designed to provide thoughtful enrichment while maintaining close supervision and safety.
This service is $15.

Private Play
We understand that not every dog thrives in a group setting — and that’s completely okay. Our Private Play option is designed for dogs who may feel uncomfortable around other dogs, have medical needs that require separation, or are intact males over six months of age.
Dogs enrolled in Private Play enjoy their own dedicated indoor space with all-day access to a secure outdoor play yard and enrichment equipment. While they are not integrated into group play, they’re never isolated or forgotten. Each Private Play guest receives dedicated one-on-one time with a staff member throughout the day for play, enrichment, and plenty of attention.
For dogs who enjoy social interaction from a distance, safe barrier fencing allows them to see and interact with neighboring dogs comfortably. Our goal is to provide a calm, structured environment where each dog feels safe, understood, and cared for according to their individual needs.
Please note: We have only six Private Play kennels available, and they do fill quickly. We encourage scheduling in advance. For more information regarding reservations, deposits, and cancellations, please review our Private Play deposit and cancellation policy.

Whole Dog Wellness
At Doggie Detailing & Resort, we believe in caring for the whole dog — physically, mentally, and emotionally. We support a balanced approach to wellness and are open to families who choose holistic options such as raw feeding and holistic flea and tick prevention.
Within our facility, we also utilize holistic calming aids to help dogs feel relaxed and comfortable in our environment. These supportive tools can be especially helpful for dogs adjusting to a new setting or those who benefit from additional emotional support.
Our goal is always to work alongside owners to create a care plan that aligns with each dog’s individual needs and lifestyle.
Holistic Calming Support
Some dogs benefit from additional emotional support while adjusting to a new environment. At Doggie Detailing & Resort, we utilize holistic calming tools to help dogs feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable during their stay.
These may include natural calming supplements, pheromone-based products, or other gentle supports designed to ease stress without sedation. Our goal is never to suppress personality, but to help each dog feel confident and secure in a structured, social setting.
If we begin to notice consistent signs of stress or anxiety, we will communicate with the owner and may recommend supportive options to be implemented at home. Any calming aids used within our facility are intended as temporary support while a longer-term plan is established. We believe lasting wellness comes from a collaborative approach between owner, facility, and when needed, veterinary guidance.

Holistic Flea & Tick Prevention
We are open to dogs using holistic flea and tick prevention methods, provided they are effective and appropriate for a social daycare and boarding environment.
Holistic options may include essential oil-based sprays, natural topical products, or supplements such as garlic-based chews. Because dogs share indoor and outdoor play spaces, preventing the spread of parasites is essential to maintaining a safe and healthy facility.
All dogs must be on a flea and tick preventative while attending daycare or boarding — whether conventional or holistic. If you are unsure whether your current prevention method meets our standards, we’re always happy to discuss options and determine what will best protect both your dog and our community.

Raw Feeding
We welcome families who choose to feed a raw diet and are happy to accommodate those meals during your dog’s stay. To maintain consistency and structure within our facility, all meals are fed during our regularly scheduled feeding times. We are unable to offer custom feeding times outside of our established routine.
We provide refrigerated and freezer storage for raw food to ensure proper handling and food safety. Owners are responsible for clearly labeling and portioning meals in advance so we can serve them accurately and efficiently.
We are also supportive of owner-provided food toppers and supplements, including probiotics, when they are part of your dog’s established routine. Consistency in diet and gut health can play an important role in overall wellness, especially during times of transition such as boarding or daycare.
If you are exploring raw feeding or looking for sourcing options, some helpful resources include:
We believe consistency in diet supports overall wellness and are committed to following your feeding instructions as closely as possible within our structured schedule.

Proactive Wellness Care
Our team remains attentive to each dog throughout the day because we believe small changes can be important indicators of overall wellness. We do not overlook minor concerns and take a proactive approach to comfort and care.
If a dog develops minor skin irritation, hot spots, or superficial scrapes while in our care, we may apply holistic topical sprays or powders when appropriate. These gentle supports are intended to promote comfort and support natural healing while keeping the area clean and protected.
If a dog experiences mild digestive upset such as vomiting or diarrhea while in our care, we may offer supportive options such as probiotics or other holistic gut-support aids when appropriate. These measures are intended to provide temporary comfort while we continue monitoring the dog’s condition.
Should we observe symptoms that appear more significant or persistent, we will contact the owner directly to discuss next steps. For minor concerns, you will be informed at pick-up so you are always aware of your dog’s condition.
Your dog’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being are always our priority. We believe in working collaboratively with owners to support each dog’s health in a thoughtful and responsible manner.

For owners interested in learning more about holistic care, nutrition, and wellness, we’re happy to share trusted educational resources.
